Oral storytelling is one of the most ancient art-forms and has a long and honourable history.  Stories have been passed on by word of mouth since long before reading and writing became commonplace.  In the past these stories communicated news, taught moral principles and tribal law, and tried to explain the origins of Life, the Universe, and Everything. Nowadays, listening to a story can provide a welcome respite from electronic media, a chance to become truly immersed in and engaged with a narrative.

So, I'm planning a new mailshot to schools far & wide to offer my services. Alongside the storytelling, I'm offering associated workshops introducing children to the art of Illustration and even simple Book-binding.
